Our Solid Distillation System is a self contained, indirectly-heated, rotating processing chamber that uses an anaerobic atmosphere to remove volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds from solid waste. SDS eliminates oxidation and the formation of hazardous compounds. In addition to the environmentally friendly nature of the process, the SDS system offers many other advantages over typical direct-flame systems.

- A shredder reduces all feed materials to a uniform size.

- Shredded feed materials are conveyed to the entry valve.

- Shredded feed materials are introduced to the rotating processing chamber.

- Waste enters the rotating thermal chamber and is exposed to the indirectly heated high temperature environment.

- The anaerobic atmosphere inside the rotating chamber prevents oxidation of the hydrocarbon components from the waste.

- The indirect heating enclosure blankets the thermal chamber and exhausts excess heat.

- The SDS system eliminates the need for incineration or land disposal.

- Processed gases are reclaimed and recycled.
